I get confused when buying spices. Here's a list of spices translated from Malay to English, some names are in Chinese. The list is not complete yet... but I will definitely update from time to time.happy

Asam Jawa - Tamarind

Bawang Merah - Shallot
Belacan - Fermented Dried Shrimp Paste
Buah Keras - Candle Nut
Buah Pala - Nutmeg
Buah Pelaga - Cardamom
Buah Gajus - Cashew Nut
Bunga Cengkih - Clove
Bunga Kantan - Torch Ginger Flower
Biji Lada Hitam - Peppercorns
Bunga Lawang - Star Anise
Biji Sawi - Mustard Seed
