my mom made the best vinoigan. i never made dis but i have a feeling i will make it soon.
ingredients
500gm glutinous rice (soaked for 3-4 hours)method
400ml diluted coconut milk
2 tsp salt
2 pandan leaves, knotted
prepare steamer, make sure water is boiling
wash glutinous rice, drain well and set aside
put all ingredients into a steaming tray (loyang)
steam for 20 - 30 mins
discard pandan leaves
fluff up rice
press the top with banana leaf for a smooth and even surface
i have no idea what a vinoigan is but it sounds yummy :)
ReplyDeleteIt's just savoury sticky glutinous rice cooked with santan... taste just like the bottom layer of seri muka :D Memang sodappp!!
