pots de crème

ingredients

1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp instant coffee
dash of salt
1 tbsp butter
2/3 cups milk, brought to scalding
method
in a blender, blend egg, vanilla, salt, instant coffee granules and butter
bring milk to scalding
pour into egg mixture, at same time add chocolate chips
blend until smooth
pour into Pots de creme cups or demitasse' cups
chill 3 to 4 hours before serving
top with fresh whipped cream
